UCSB - Marlon Ruckle
Instructor: Marlon Ruckle has been dancing Argentine tango since 2005. He atually started his tango career as a student at UCSB in 2005, and since then has continued to pursue his passion and understanding of this great dance and artform in many different places around the world.Course description: The original version of the Tango, the intense and magnetic Argentine Tango boasts a dramatic flair. This class will focus on the fundamentals of the Argentine Tango. This class is geared toward beginning dancers but it is open to everyone who would like to continue to improve the basic elements of this dance. We start with exercises in balance, coordination, body posture and continue with tango walking, lead and follow communication, navigation on the dance floor, musicality as well as the following steps.
